DHI Seaport awarded 18th ICTSI Supplier’s Quality Awards (2026)

In August 2026, DHI Seaport were grateful to receive the 18^th ICTSI Supplier’s Quality Award for IT Services  shortlisted from amongst thousands of suppliers across the technology sector.

In ICTSI’s words, DHI Seaport were selected as the winning candidate: “In recognition of your exceptional performance, commitment to excellence, and valued partnership with ICTSI.”

ICTSI’s flagship container terminal in Manila (MICT) this year signed onto a 5 year long NCOS Online contract, further securing an already long-term partnership built on innovation, efficiency gains and commercial success.

MICT partnered with DHI Seaport in 2019 to install the NCOS ONLINE Safe Transit system that provides visibility over the forecasted weather and safe sailing windows that are communicated to shipping customers ahead of their arrival. When shipping or weather conditions change, MICT’s berth planning team can quickly discuss safety of transits with the Harbour Master and find the best solution for accommodating customers. The combination of technology and best practice approach has allowed MICT to safely increase the allowable drafts over this five year period from 10.25m to 12.3m. In the words of MICT:

“It is helpful for us to have the NCOS Online system most especially for the pilots, harbormaster and berth planner because the tools help us to track, identify high spots and understand the details more simply and plan pilot transits based on the correct UKC and response to live detailed weather predictions. "We are very happy with the benefits we are getting from NCOS ONLINE.”

More recently, in 2025, MICT fully integrated the NCOS ONLINE Yardsafe system into their operations. This tool provides 48hour advanced warning of container toppling risk to the berth planning team. To quote the Yard Planning Development Head, “NCOS ONLINE YardSafe has become an integral part of MICT’s operations – enhancing safety, improving efficiency and strengthening the operational readiness of the terminal”.
