DHI Seaport Pty Ltd is a globally recognised provider of physics-based digital decision-support solutions for ports and terminals, established in 2018.
DHI Seaport is best known for NCOS ONLINE, which originated from a research partnership established in 2016 between DHI Water & Environment, FORCE Technology A/S and the Port of Brisbane. The objective was to develop a new approach to supporting the safe and efficient transit of large, deep-draught vessels through constrained waterways.
NCOS ONLINE first went live at the Port of Brisbane in August 2017. Shortly afterwards, the system supported the safe transit of SUSAN MAERSK, at the time the largest container vessel ever to visit an Australian port.
Since then, NCOS ONLINE has evolved into a powerful modular digital service supporting a growing range of waterside port, terminal and maritime operations around the world.
DHI Seaport is part of DHI, a global water engineering and specialist organisation established in 1964. DHI employs approximately 1,100 people and delivers projects in more than 115 countries. DHI Seaport Pty Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of DHI A/S, headquartered in Denmark.
